Penny Creek Family & Implant Dentistry
Dr. Chad G. Slocum graduated from the University of Washington School of Dentistry in 1998. He then continued his education by completing a one year General Practice Residency program at the University of Washington. It is here that he received advanced training in oral surgery, pediatric care, sedation, and complex restorative dentistry. Dr. Slocum is passionate about dentistry and has continued his training by attending hundreds of hours of continuing education. His dedication has allowed him to study with some of the top clinicians in the country, and this has allowed him to stay at the forefront of dental technology and clinical techniques. Dr. Slocum enjoys getting to know his patients, and helping them discover the many gifts that modern dentistry has to offer.
Dr. Slocum completed his undergraduate studies at Washington State University and is a graduate of Redmond High School. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys, hiking, fly fishing, and skiing.

Dr. Sara M. Lundgaard graduated from the University of Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, CA in 1997. After dental school, she moved to the Northwest to complete a General Practice Residency Program at the University of Washington. In this program, she received advanced training in pediatrics, oral surgery, sedation dentistry, and complex dental cases. Prior to attending dental school, she received a Masters of Science in Pharmacology and Toxicology and worked briefly as an environmental consultant in Washington, D.C. Dr. Lundgaard has taken many continuing education courses to further her knowledge in complex restorative cases and cosmetics. She is known for being a very kind and gentle dentist. She enjoys the personal relationships she can develop with her patients and especially delights in working with children. When not at work, she spends as much time with her two young sons as possible.
Jill - Office Manager
Jill has been working in the dental field for over 30yrs. Jill knew she wanted to be in the dental field after having orthodontic treatment as a teenager. She graduated High School and went directly to a dental assisting school. Jill loved and worked as a dental assistant for many years. She then transitioned to the front office. She loves the front desk where she can interact with patients and apply all of her dental knowledge.
Jill has been married to her best friend for 25 years. They have a son and two sweet dachshunds. Jill lives for the summer- Enjoying gardening, waterskiing and anything else outdoors! She survives winter by bowling, watching football and going to the gym. She is extremely excited to be working at Penny Creek for amazing Doctors and the equally wonderful supporting staff that truly cares for their patients.
Shelley - Scheduling Coordinator
Shelley graduated from Pima Medical Institute in Seattle with honors in 1996. With 24 years invested in dental, she is very passionate and knowledgeable about the field and is pleased to share her expertise with our thriving practice. In her personal time, she enjoys life with her husband Mark of many years and their beloved Boston Terrier Rocky. She enjoys live music, outdoor activities, and visiting her second home in beautiful Maui!
Georgia - Hygienist
Georgia is a native Washingtonian who is happiest on a sunny, warm day. She received her dental hygiene degree from Yakima Valley College many years ago. She has logged hundreds of continuing education hours to improve her skills and profession. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Seattle Pacific University. Her passions are: Family- her daughter, son and 2 grandsons, friends, fitness- dancing and hot yoga, and football. Go Huskies and Seahawks! She hopes to travel more in the near future. She loves meeting new people and learning about their different cultures. When she can’t travel, she reads.
Krissy - Hygienist
Krissy graduated from Eastern Washington University in 2010 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Dental Hygiene. She enjoys keeping current on practice techniques and learning all she can for the best care for her patients. As a Washington native she enjoys many of the outdoor activities our area has to offer, but probably attempting home improvement projects and raising her new family is what fills her free time most days.
Cheryl - Hygienist
Cheryl has been a dental hygienist for many years, pursuing further education after being a dental assistant for six years. She enjoys spending time with her husband and extended family. Her favorite day is “grandparent day” when the youngest grandson spends the day. And, any day golfing is a good day.
Reana - Hygienist
Reana began her dental career working as a pediatric dental assistant for many years before attending hygiene school and graduating from Shoreline Community College. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry, but especially enjoys educating and connecting with patients. Reana was born and raised in Western Washington but lived in London for several years where she married her British husband. Outside of work, she enjoys planning vacations, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her family, including her two pugs, Gus and Louie.
Jeri - Dental Assistant
Jeri has over 30 years of dental assisting experience. The most rewarding part of being a dental assistant is the happiness and appreciation our patients give us for what we do. I enjoy making people feel more confident in themselves while helping them improve their overall dental health. I love our patients and it is a pleasure to come to work every day.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with friends, cycling, and hanging out with my awesome dog Tinkerbell.
